It is my suggestion that you go to the roof of the main guest house (deluxe & standard room building) and watch the sunrise on at least one morning. Take a cushion, drink and a shawl. I suggest that this would be in silence or very quiet whispers …. x

Circumnavigate Mount Arunachala, stopping at the 8 lingams on this 14km path. Lingam means "sign" or "mark, with each one on this route representing a step or challenge on the path of our life. We are walking at sunrise on a road with cars and cows. Those not walking, have a rickshaw. We go slowly to keep the group together.
Excursion 3 - Annamalaiyar Temple & Spice Market.
The Arunachalesvara Temple or Annamalaiyar Temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva and Parvati, located at the foothills of the Arunachala.
After the temple, we will visit the Spice Market in the area.
Excursion 4 - Shopping
Shopping in Tiruvannamalai. You might want to stop at ‘Dream and Tree’ cafe or a bakery. This is for those who wish to buy something to take back home. Andrea working with me, will collate a list of those wishing to go. Travel is by rickshaw, leaving after breakfast and returning for lunch. This will likely be either day 7 or 9.
Moxibustion Ancillary Treatments
Lastly, due to the size of the group and the restrictions on entering India, on days the schedule permits, (no excursions), Andrea & I aim to hold ancillary / Moxibustion treatments. These will be with groups of 5 / 6 at a time in the Shala. For those who are interested, you can organise this with us once we are there.
